Forge Kitchen
Traditional kitchen with Victorian features for modern day living.
THE FORGE
Its easy to see why this kitchen is high up in our portfolio. Replicating free standing Victorian scullery tables into modern day kitchens is important to allow the design to stand its test of time.
Simple forms yet practical and functional prioritises, therefore within this project our clients design brief had to be exactly that. Sitting proud within this beautiful residence enduring simplicity against the stone flooring and large sash windows speaks a thousand words.
The extractor canopy blends effortlessly into the wall elevation sitting over the Everhot oven with bespoke made splashback.
Tall larders complete the storage solution for the space without overcomplicating or over designing, less is certainly more here.
The centre focal point to the room is most definitely the free standing scullery table. Gone are the centre islands to make this setting. Clearly it is without doubt the working area for the kitchen…flour is sieved and the bread is kneaded! A true gem to watch the cook prepare food for the family.
